The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Jalingo, Taraba State.
EFCC disclosed that the suspects were apprehended on Sunday, April 27, 2025, by operatives of its Gombe Zonal Directorate.
“The suspects were arrested at Fenson Guest House and Mile 6 in Jalingo, based on credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.
“Items recovered from them include one Toyota Camry car (2013 model), 27 phones, five laptops, and other electronic devices,” it stated.
The Commission added that they will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
