NDC Not Funded by Any Government or Individual – Dickson

The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Seriake Dickson, has disclosed that the party is not funded by any government or individual, but by the contributions and commitment of members and supporters of the party.

Senator Dickson made the disclosure on Wednesday when he formally received members of the House of Representatives who recently decamped to the NDC, including the senator representing Gombe South, Col. Amos Bulus (rtd), who joined from the All Progressives Congress (APC). The reception was also attended by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Peter Obi.

He urged the new members to continue upholding the democratic rights of the Nigerian people and to resist every attempt to entrench a one-party state in the country.

Dickson equally encouraged them to remain steadfast in supporting the party while continuing to work closely with party leaders and their constituents in service to the people.

While acknowledging the donation of a vehicle from the Delta State chapter of the NDC, he thanked the donors and everyone who has continued to support the party through donations and contributions since its launch.

Dickson further called on well-meaning Nigerians to continue supporting the party.

“The NDC is not funded by any single individual or by any government. Our party is sustained by the sacrifice, commitment, and contributions of members and supporters who believe in our vision for a better Nigeria,” he said.
