Nigerian cylicist, Ese Ukpeseraye has revealed that it took the support of the German team for her to participate in the Keirin & Sprint event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Ukpeseraye, on her X handle on Thursday also disclosed that her call for participation at the event happened all of a sudden.
She wrote: “Due to the short notice of me competing at the keirin & Sprint, #teamNigeria I had no bicycle to race with on the tracks. In d spirit of sportsmanship the German team @bunddeutscherradfahr came to my rescue by offering me a bicycle. Thank you.”
