TechOff, Nigeria’s fast-rising tech talent and innovation platform, has officially opened registration for TechOff 2026 with a bold new message to young Africans: Everybody Can Build.
What began in 2023 as a talent showcase has rapidly evolved into a multi-city movement focused on discovering, amplifying, and empowering emerging builders across Nigeria.
This year’s edition will expand across five cities, namely Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Ife, and Akure to create opportunities for aspiring innovators, creators, designers, engineers, product managers, thinkers and problem-solvers to build scalable solutions that solve real-world problems leveraging artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Anchored on the belief that innovation should no longer be reserved for only technical experts, TechOff 2026 aims to help more young people move from ideas to execution by providing visibility, mentorship, ecosystem access, and opportunity at scale to bridge the widening tech talent gaps in Nigeria. Speaking on the launch, the TechOff Founder, Mr Olumide Sosanya, noted that: “We are entering a new era where AI is lowering the barrier to innovation. TechOff 2026 is about helping more people realise that they, too, can build meaningful solutions regardless of their background.”
Since inception, TechOff has engaged hundreds of participants, activated industry experts and mentors, and supported emerging innovators through funding, visibility, and ecosystem opportunities.
As TechOff 2026 scales across multiple cities, the platform is also inviting forward-thinking organisations, ecosystem leaders, corporates, and passionate individuals to partner in shaping the next generation of African innovators.
