The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has commissioned the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Flight Data Analysis (FDA) Centre.
The inauguration of the FDA centre took place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Authority’s corporate headquarters in Abuja.
Key benefits of the FDA centre to NCAA include enhancing safety oversight, regulatory compliance, incident investigation and operational performance monitoring.
It will also be used for trend analysis and risk management, improving stakeholder collaboration, cost savings, as well as efficiency and global credibility.
Accompanying the Minister at the event was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole.
The FDA centre is seen as one of the key project achievements of the acting Director General of the Authority, Captain Chris Najomo.
