Interior Minister Tunji-Ojo Hosts Netherlands’ Director of Int’l Affairs, Vows to Strengthen Collaboration
The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on Thursday hosted Netherlands’ Director of International Affairs, Mr. Rob Bokhoven to reinforce the partnership between the two countries.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo emphasised the significance of the meeting geared towards improving the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
“Yesterday, I received on courtesy visit Mr. Rob Bokhoven, Director of International Affairs at the Repatriation and Departure Service, Ministry of Justice, Kingdom of Netherlands, in my office.
“Mr. Bokhoven briefed me on the progress of various initiatives led by the Dutch government in collaboration with the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS),” he stated on X, formerly Twitter.
The minister assured Bokhoven of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration commitment to sustaining and strengthening the bilateral relationship.
This, he said, will continue to yield significant benefits for the ministry in areas such as migration management, border control, capacity development for officers and security cooperation.
