Anambra NSCDC Boss Inspects JAMB Exam Centres, Lauds Personnel’s Professionalism 



As the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) commenced on Thursday, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra Command, Comdt. Maku Olatunde, conducted an on-the-spot assessment at several JAMB CBT examination centres in Awka area of the state.

In a statement released by the Superintendent of Corps, SC Okadigbo Edwin, Head of Media and Tactical Operations of the Command, Commandant Olatunde assessed security arrangements and interacted with deployed personnel.

The visited centres, including JAMB Office ICT Centre, St. Patrick’s College Awka, and St. John of God Awka, witnessed smooth proceedings, robust security, zero incidents, and JAMB officials assisting candidates.

Speaking during his visit to the exam centres, Olatunde stressed the importance of maintaining a professional demeanor.

He urged the corps personnel to remain courteous and respectful in their interactions with candidates, thereby ensuring a positive experience for all.

The Anambra NSCDC boss emphasised the need for politeness and civility, reminding personnel that their conduct reflects not only on themselves but also on the entire security agency.

“I commend you for your diligence and professionalism in ensuring a secure and peaceful JAMB examination process,” he said.

Similarly, a separate monitoring team, led by Deputy Commandants Prominence Ukaobi, Akaachia Godwin, and Alada Yakubu, was deployed to oversee security at JAMB centres outside the Awka metropolis.
