2026 FIFA World Cup: Davido, Rema, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr Feature on Official Album
Nigerian music stars David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, Rema, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr have been selected to feature on the official album for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The inclusion of the four Nigerian artistes was revealed in the 18-track official album lineup released by FIFA Sound.
“The squad for the Official #FIFAWorldCup 2026™ Album is here! Pre-save for the album release on June 5. Stay tuned for more to come,” the organisation posted on X.
According to the tracklist, Davido appears on the song No Place Like Home alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado, while Rema is featured on Goals with Lisa and Anitta. Similarly, Burna Boy is featured on Dai Dai with Shakira, while Ayra Starr teams up with Latto on the track Show Me.
The album also brings together a diverse mix of global music stars, including Future, Tyla, Daddy Yankee, Shenseea, Stormzy, Fridayy, Ava Max, BIA, Jelly Roll, Carín León, Nora Fatehi, Vegedream, Sanjoy, Danny Ocean, iShowSpeed, Shaggy, Cimafunk, and The Rolling Stones, among others.
Other tracks on the project include Game Time, Illuminate, Echo, Por Ella, Three Nations, Mi México Lindo, Blessings, Energy, Lighter, Siir Siir, Partidazo, Champion, Love Always Win, and In the Stars (Remix).
The official album is expected to serve as the soundtrack to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The album will be released through FIFA Sound and Universal Music on June 5 and will be available on major streaming platforms as well as in physical format.
The selection of Davido, Rema, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr underscores the growing influence of Afrobeats on the global stage and highlights Nigeria’s continued prominence in international music and entertainment.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19, and Mexico and South Africa will face off in the opening game at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
