The Lagos State Government (LASG) has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge will be closed on Wednesday for 24 hours.
This was disclosed in a notice issued by LASG on X, formerly Twitter on Tuesday.
“The Lagos State Government has notified the motoring Public of the intended closure of The Third Mainland Bridge by the Federal Ministry of Works.
“The closure which will commence from 12-noon on Wednesday, 28th to 12-noon on Thursday, 29th February, 2024 will affect both bounds of the carriageways of the bridge,” the notice stated.
Consequently, the government advised motorists to use the alternative routes provided, stressing that the bridge would not be in use for 24-hours.
