Police to Graduate 6th Regular Course Cadets September 7

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced that it will send off the 6th Regular Course Cadets at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, on Saturday, September 7.

NPF disclosed that the important milestone underscores its commitment to excellence and professionalism, stressing that it marks a significant achievement for the cadets and the Academy.

This was made known in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Friday.

According to the statement, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun in a recent address emphasised the critical importance of standardisation within the security agency.

IGP Egbetokun explained that a well-trained Police Force is essential for enhancing public safety, maintaining law and order, and promoting community trust in the law enforcement unit.

“The graduating class of the 6th Regular Course Cadets have undergone comprehensive training designed to prepare them for the diverse challenges they will face as future leaders in policing.

“This rigorous curriculum includes extensive instruction in areas such as community policing, conflict resolution, ethics, human rights, criminal investigation, and advanced leadership skills,” the statement read in part.

The IGP expressed optimism that the new graduates will serve as exemplary role models in their respective communities, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and professionalism.

“Their training is a testament to the ongoing reforms aimed at building a more responsive, accountable, and citizen-centric police force,” he added.

The statement further read: “The Inspector-General of Police therefore invites stakeholders, families, and the general public to join in celebrating the accomplishments of these cadets as they embark on their important journey to serve and protect the citizens of Nigeria.”
